Originally created in 1902 by Walter Bruhn, the son of German immigrants, Champagne Velvet became one of Indiana’s most popular brews. Unfortunately, industrial consolidation took down this regional favorite and the recipe went missing for many years until a fan rescued the handwritten recipe. Upland reformulated it and proudly brought this legend back to life. Champagne Velvet is refreshingly light and smooth with some sweet complexities. It’s the perfect everyday beer.
