The Headwall Alt is a traditional style of Altbier from Düsseldorf, Germany. Alt literally means 'old' in German. Staying as true to the old recipe as possible, the Headwall Alt is brewed using German malts, plus German and American hops.
The beer is also cold conditioned, dryhopped and krausened in the bottle/keg to heighten the roasted malt aromas and balanced bready, hoppy flavors. The Headwall Alt was rated in the Top 6 Brews in New England in the Boston Globe Magazine and has also made Beer Advocate’s list of Top Altbiers.

Bratwurst with Apples, Onion & Sauerkraut
Oktoberfest fans, here's your dish. Wondra flour, which dissolves quickly to prevent lumps from forming, is what helps thicken the juices in this fall classic. You'll find it at the supermarket. Pair with an Altbier.
