The classic flagship IPA of the Scuttlebutt Brewing Company tends to favor a British-style IPA and has been produced since 1996. Aroma is quite floral and attractive. Very robust and hoppy with a distinct Northwest character. Caramel malts produce a balanced malt profile and a definitive golden straw color. Body is medium in the style of many Washington State IPA’s. Thai food goes nicely with this IPA, as long as they are not too spicy. Try a Curry dish for a great match.
