Pike’s Naughty Nellie Ale is a Blonde Session-Ale that we hopped to perfection. Golden color gives a nutty, cracker-like malt flavor in front with a grapefruit and lemon punch to the palette. Pike’s Naughty Nellie is crisp & refreshing with mild fruity esters. Pair this Golden Ale with soft, robust cheeses and crackers.
Pike’s Naughty Nellie was named for Nellie Curtis, madam of the LaSalle Hotel, where Pike Brewing was founded. Nellie Nightingale Curtis was a notorious, outrageous citizen of Seattle in its rough and tumble years in the early 20th century. We think she would be honored to have a smooth, Blonde Ale with surprising fruity and bitter character share her name.
