- Mad Anthony's
Mad Anthony's is named after General Anthony Wayne, Brigadier General of the American Revolutionary War. It is rumored that during the war, General Wayne was shot numerous times with lead-filled bullets, and his 'madness' can be attributed to lead poisoning. The war hero died in 1796 and was buried in Erie. Mad Anthony's is an American Pale Ale boasting the perfect balance of malt and hop flavor. Pale amber in color, this brew is a great showcase of American hops.
