Made in the Detroit tradition of hand crafted German-style Lagers, the Atwater’s Lager is the very first beer Atwater served back in 1997. Today, the Lager is still brewed in the same traditional style, reminiscent of a Munich style Helles Lager with a dry, malty start, a nice wheat character, and a slightly grassy, bitter finish. You’ll even notice some spice notes of nutmeg and cloves that makes this brew more complex and flavorful than your average Lager. Overall, the Atwater’s Lager is crisp and clean from start to finish, and an easy drinking beer you’re sure to enjoy this summer.
