Craft beer from the mountains of Idaho, Sawtooth Brewery makes its mark on the resort region of Sun Valley with locally-made, award-winning brews.

Established by friends Kevin Jones and Paul Holle on 11/11/11 in Ketchum, Idaho, Sawtooth Brewery is dedicated to brewing premium, locally-inspired brews that celebrate the beautiful recreational and wilderness areas of Sun Valley. It was Kevin and Paul’s vision to create a place where people could go for tasty craft beer after a long day of skiing or biking, and that vision has certainly come to fruition.

Kevin Jones and Paul Holle originally met through a mutual friend and quickly realized that they shared a passion for starting a craft brewery in the Sun Valley area. They noticed that Sun Valley was lacking a robust craft beer culture and wanted to create one. It seemed like a no-brainer for the resort mountain area. With Paul’s extensive home brewing experience and Kevin’s knack for business, they made the necessary plans and Sawtooth Brewery was ultimately born.

Kevin and Paul have made it their mission to recognize that they live in one of the most beautiful places in the world and it is important to run a business that supports keeping the forests clean while enjoying the recreational opportunities around them.

Over the years, Sawtooth Brewery has seen great success and expanded to include two restaurants, the Public House in Ketchum and the Tap Room in Hailey. They have also moved their brewery to the Hailey location where they now produce over 1,000 barrels of craft beer each year and sell their beer all over Idaho.

In December of 2015, Sawtooth Brewery canned their first beers, becoming the first brewery in the Sun Valley area to do so. Since the initial two canned releases, they have grown to include their five flagship beers in cans, in addition to seasonal and special one-time offerings.

We are happy to present this Idaho craft brewery to our Beer Club members and hope you enjoy two of their most popular canned offerings. Cheers!
