An award-winning microbrewery in Evansville, Indiana, Carson’s Brewery is rapidly expanding while crafting a solid line-up of innovative craft beers.

Founded in 2013 by Jason Carson, Carson’s Brewery is Southern Indiana’s premier microbrewery. The brewery is located in the city of Evansville, which has a proud German heritage and was built on brewing beer. Jason Carson is proudly continuing this rich tradition with his wide range of award-winning brews, and he continues to standout in the region with his innovative recipes and barrel aged beers.

It all started when Jason was looking for a career change several years ago. His family worked in the industrial chemical business, which gave him a background in science and industry, and he had always been fascinated with fermentation and its chemistry. After tiring of his job in selling heat transfer fluid, Jason was looking for something new and brewing beer “seemed like the logical move!” He brought together a group of experienced brewing industry partners and started on some test batches of beer in 2012. By 2013, Carson’s Brewery became a reality, with the team producing a handful of premium beers on a very small scale.

Carson’s Brewery started with just six craft beers, but they quickly developed a following that allowed the brewery to expand and move to its current 10,000 square foot brewhouse with a 20-barrel batch brewing system and 7 fermenters. The core beers, along with other seasonals and barrel aged craft beers, are currently available in draft and cans in Evansville bars, restaurants, and package liquor stores. The Tap Room at Carson’s Brewery has 30 draft lines and is open daily for pints, flight sampling, growler fills, keg rentals, and more.

In September 2018, Carson’s Brewery celebrated its five year anniversary, which called for quite the celebration - in the past five years, Carson’s beers have been well-received around the country, bringing home awards from the Great American Beer Festival, the World Beer Cup, and the Indiana Brewers’ Cup. Jason Carson plans to continue growing the brewery, and hopes to eventually expand to spirits in the future. We are proud to present this award-winning microbrewery to our Craft Beer Club members. Cheers!
